Tickets Now Available for the Inaugural Glowflare Short Film Festival at Beverley Parkway Cinemas

The wait is over Glowflare Horror Film Festival is excited to announce that tickets for its debut two-day horror event are now on sale! Taking place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025 at the atmospheric Parkway Cinema Beverley, this chilling celebration of horror cinema will showcase a blood-curdling mix of short and feature-length films from around the world, with select sessions followed by live Q&As with the filmmakers.

Festival Day Pass – £20 Per Day

This year’s event runs across two days, and attendees can purchase a £20 day pass for either day or attend both days for the full experience.

Each Day Pass Includes:

  • Access to All Film Screenings
    Entry to all horror screenings scheduled on the selected day. From slashers to supernatural, animation to folk horror, each block promises fear, fun, and fantastic filmmaking.
  • Festival Programme Guide
    A printed schedule and film guide to help you navigate the screenings, including film synopses, categories, and director notes.
  • Live Filmmaker Q&As
    Selected films will be followed by interactive Q&A sessions with the directors and cast, giving insight into the blood, sweat, and screams behind the scenes.

Important Note About the Awards Ceremony

The Glowflare Awards Presentation will take place on the evening of Sunday 18th May. Only Sunday day pass holders will have access to the ceremony, where we’ll honour outstanding horror talent with awards for Best Feature, Best Short, Best Director, and more. If you want to witness the final celebration and see who takes home the trophies, you’ll need a Sunday pass.

There’s still time to submit your horror film to be part of our terrifying lineup. We accept both short and feature-length films in the following categories:
